Operation LifeChild provides care within the community to orphans and vulnerable children by giving them food, education, clothing, medical care and a sound Christian foundation. The children are fully equipped with the emotional, spiritual and physical skills that enable them to be productive members of the society.
Doctors for Life International is a non-governmental, non-profit making organisation which was established in 1991. It stands for sound science, the sanctity of life and a Christian ethic in the medical profession. Membership, which is international, is exclusively for medical doctors and currently we have 1300 members’ worldwide. As well as the members we have over 1000 “Friends of Doctors for Life”, made up of individual professionals worldwide from a variety of backgrounds that support our work. For the past years, even though membership fees are voluntary, DFL has managed to not only operate but to expand into areas such as Operation Lifechild, realising it’s income mainly from donations made by Individuals and Faith Based Organisations.
